Our Team

Nathan Brown - Pastor

Let me be the first to welcome you to Raleigh Road Baptist!  My wife Kali and I have been married since April 2005, and both grew up in Northeast Arkansas. We have been part of the Raleigh Road Family since March of 2005, and have loved seeing how God has grown, challenged, and drawn us into a closer walk with Him. A little about myself, I have a B.S. in Psychology from Arkansas State University, a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Master of Theology from Southeastern as well. I am currently in the PhD program at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Prior to moving to NC for seminary in 2010, Kali and I served in a number of ministries at our local church in AR. During this time, I worked as a Financial Advisor;first for Morgan Stanely and then for Merrill Lynch. Since moving here, we served in the Young Professionals Ministry at Richland Creek Community Church in Wake Forest.

One thing I am passionate about, other than seeing people come to Christ, is traditional karate. I am been blessed to have founded Wake Forest Christian Karate & Kobudo in 2010. God has done some amazing things though this ministry, and it is now one of the largest Christian Martial Arts ministries in the Triangle. I am excited to now have one of these classes right here at Raleigh Road.

My desire is to equip and empower the saints to take ownership of their ministry and fulfill God’s call on their life! We desire to see our church members being obedient to following Christ by Growing, Giving, & Going. Kali and I are excited to see what blessings God has in store for all of us in the Raleigh Road family!

If you are looking for a place to Grow, then come Grow with us!

Stephen Moye - Associate Pastor of Family Ministries

Stephen Moye

Born and raised in Vidalia, GA. I felt a calling into the ministry my Sophomore year of High School. After graduating from Brewton-Parker College with a B.A. in Christian Studies, I moved to Wake Forest, NC to continue my studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. There I completed my Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry in 2016.

My wife Crescen and I have been married since 2014, and welcomed our first child into the family in 2016. We are so excited to serve at Raleigh Road Baptist and are looking forward to the years to come as God continues to Grow our church family!

Linda O'Brien - Music Director

Born and raised in Henderson, I am happy to call RRBC my home. As the Music Director & Pianist, I have the privilege of helping lead the church in corporate worship of our Savior. One thing you might not know about me is that I have been leading the choir since I was a teenager, and it is just as fulfilling and exciting to me now as it was then.

I am also excited to be able to worship each week with my wonderful daughter, Sheri, my son-in-law, Jeff, and my granddaughters Lyndsey & Kaitlyn.

Lawrence White - College & Careers Minsitry

A little more than six years ago, (June 2010), My wife Dayna, our two youngest children Elizabeth and Benjamin, and I moved to North Carolina from our home state of Mississippi where I had served as a Pastor of Worship and Students. Prior to this we had served 20+ years in similar capacities in churches of Mississippi, Kentucky, Florida and Alabama (Roll Tide!!)

Before we made the move to NC, we sensed God leading us to enroll at SEBTS in Wake Forest to ‘finish’ something we had started 24 years ago. Because we always have served on staff in churches, we had a difficult time finding a local church in which we felt like we ‘fit’. We are glad to be a part of Raleigh Road and to serve as leaders in the College & Career Ministry. We are excited to see how God will use us in the College & Careers Ministry!

1 Corinthians 8 with Pastor Nathan Brown

Point 1: When we Truly Love God, We will be Known by Him. When we are Truly Known by Him, then we will grow in Knowing Him.

Point 2: Don’t let your “Knowledge” be an excuse for your lack of Obedience and Love toward God.

Point 3: Do not sin against Christ twice.
Once, by using your knowledge as an excuse to do something you know will not advance your Love for Christ.
Twice, by causing your brother, who Christ died for, to sin.
